Hair beauty products in the shop are so expensive especially if you want to use natural products. The actual cost of taking care of your hair is crazy once you add it all up.
I dyed my hair a few months ago because I felt like I needed a change and hair is everything! I mean you can look your best but if your hair is not on point your entire look is useless.
I went to the hair salon where I would normally go do crazy, risky things knowing they always do a great job of treating my hair. After showing the hair stylist what I wanted she did warn me that my hair will break off but I was not about to give up on what I wanted and insisted on the look I envisioned for myself.
After I walked out the hair salon it felt fabulous, I felt beautiful and I felt like I could take on the world but the next day I could feel the nutrients in my hair were stripped away and my hair was breaking off and I just couldn’t deal… I immediately regretted dying my hair.
This led to hours of research on “Tracy’s hair getting her groove back” and with all the information I had at my disposal I created a homemade “no fuss” treatment for my locks. The treatment itself worked like the proverbial bomb and my hair is back to being healthy and I feel oh-so-fabulous again.
Mask for damaged hair:
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of gelatin powder
1 whole egg
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup of raw milk (i used long life milk)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of conditioner (if your hair is really dry)
How To Apply This Hair Mask Start by heating the milk. Once it starts boiling, turn off the flame and let it cool for some time.
Now, add the gelatin powder to it while the milk is still warm. Chances are that lumps may get formed when you add the powder. This is why it is suggested to add gelatin powder while the milk is still warm.
After adding gelatin, mix the solution well and ensure it is lump-free.
Now, add all the other ingredients to this solution and mix well.
Apply this to your wet hair and put on a shower cap so that the hair mask doesn’t make the things around you messy.
Keep it on for half an hour and then wash your hair with normal shampoo.
Blow dry as normal. Your hair should feel silky smooth 🙆🏽♀️
