My top 5 Green Smoothies

I never thought I would love a green smoothie, but to my surprise, it is now my preferred smoothie. Green smoothies provide a boost of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients.

It is healthy and delicious and I want to share my top 5 green smoothies with you.

Green Pina-Colada
1 banana
1 cup of pineapple
1/2 cup spinach

Ginger Green
1 banana
1/2 cucumber
2 thumb size ginger

 

Pineapple and Orange

1 cup of pineapple
1 orange
1 banana
1 cup kale

 

Strawberry Zinger
5 medium size strawberries
1 thumb size ginger
1 banana
1/2 broccoli leaves
1 cup almond milk
1/2 yoghurt

 

Classic Green

1 green apple
1 cup spinach
1 long celery stick
5 cm cucumber
1/2 juice of a lemon

 

Youthful Glow Green

1  banana
1 green apple
1 cup spinach
1 cup kale
5 cm cucumber
1/2 juice of a lemon

 

I love adding  1/2 cup of plain yoghurt and  1/2 cup of water but it is completely up to you. Should you want more of a juice smoothie just add 1 cup of water.  Now place your ingredients in a blender and blend away.
